Each little spot on the Riviera has its own specifics, its own mark, something that makes it different and gives it its own little stamp, and yet all have in common a love for the Riviera, respect for the guests and exceptional hospitality.

Tučepi is a renowned seaside resort located in the middle of Dalmatia and situated in the Makarska Riviera, at the foot of the scenic Mount Biokovo.

A four-kilometre-long beach stretching along an idyllic promenade between palm, pine, and olive trees at the foot of the mighty Biokovo massif acts as the backdrop for the small, seaside resort town of Tučepi and the new TUI BLUE Jadran, opened in 2017.

Because of this ideal location by the sea, the place has a long history. Testimonies to the past can be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The Church of St. George (Sv. Jure) was built in the 13th century on the foundations of an older church from the 5th century, which in turn was built on the remains of a Roman villa from the 2nd century. In ancient times, Tučepi was inhabited by an ethnic group called the Illyrians. The name of the place is also to be attributed to them, translating "village on the springs". To taste the spring water in Tučepi, go to the so-called Gornje Tučepi. This is the oldest part of the village, where former inhabitants were shaken by a great earthquake in 1962 and therefore relocated closer to the coast in modern Tučepi.

In the old part of town, you can find picturesque streets and hiking trails. Admire the old stone houses and then refresh yourself at the hamlets of Podpeć, Čovići, Šimići, Srida Sela, or Podstup.
